What this site is
This is my personal site about the latest developments in artificial intelligence. It covers new models, AI agents and tools, research, policy and safety, and the hardware and industry behind it all. The aim is simple: explain what has happened, why it matters, and where you can read the original source.
How I write
- Sources first. Every topic page and post lists its sources with dates. Where possible I link to the original announcement or official document.
- Claims are labelled. Benchmark scores and performance figures from companies are presented as their own claims.
- If I can't verify it, I leave it out. Rumours and unsourced figures don't make it onto the page.
- Dated. Each page shows when it was last updated, because AI news goes out of date quickly.
The AI Barn
I own The AI Barn. You can reach me about it, or about anything on this site, at hello@theaibarn.com.
